The Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 introduced LPPs to encourage communities to be more involved in development planning. Once registered, LPPs are taken into account when preparing the local development plan.

What’s happened so far….
Public information events were held to help explain and inform the work of a LLP and encourage locals with specific interest, especially those representing groups to join a steering group to help set up and develop our LLP.
Surveys have been issued across the community, including our young people in education, the data has been gathered, analysed and focus groups have been held. Again the focus groups have been general community and one specifically for our young people. Community Members who are landowners have been consulted and a further focus group conducted.
Final report currently in draft and once signed off by the working group further community information on the report before submission will be arragned and publicised.
