UPDATE: The group whilst now dormant, thankfully due to the end of the pandemic, the group admin remain active and can assist with any community needs which require our review.

We thank all our volunteers who helped the residents of our village who were in the most need and continue to serve our community in different ways going forward.

We’ll keep this page history as we think it important that the work of the community during COVID is not forgotten.

2020 – 2022

Cardross Cares is a community group of local volunteers who aim to help people in the village of Cardross who need support during isolation or sickness associated with Coronavirus, COVID19.   

Our army of 80 volunteers have issued support cards throughout the village offering their name and contact telephone number to support essential shopping; posting items; collecting medical supplies.  We also have a number of Telephone Support Volunteers who are happy to make and take friendly phone calls to keep in touch and support those who are missing our everyday contacts.
